Float like a butterfly & Sting like a bee

The ole saying from a champion boxer: Float like a butterfly; sting like a bee,” is right on target for us Christian warriors.

We float like a butterfly among people, but we sting like a bee ?when it comes to the enemy!
Put on your Christlike undergarments and float like a butterfly among people with love and gentleness.
And put on your warrior Christlike armor ?and sting โš”the devil with the word of God and trample on his serpents with full force!

They don’t play around, and neither should we.

Remember that demons are subject to you in Jesus’ name and that you have authority and power over them (Luke 10: 17-20).

It’s time to KNOCK him OUT!!!

Also, it’s vital that you declare yourself dead to sin, but alive to God (Romans 6: 11). And that your body belongs to Jesus and the Holy Spirit lives in you… so you’re going to glorify God with your body and spirit (1 Cor 6: 19-20) These are fightin scriptures. Use them as a sword against the enemy.

Once while on a mission’s trip in Central America, the Missionary’s young daughter traveled with us on the bus to our next outreach. She sat behind me on the bus and decided to have a little fun with me- tapping me on the shoulders, touching my head, making faces, etc. She was having fun, but not I. She was beginning to aggravate me.

I thought, “I will just ignore her and she will stop.” Well she didn’t and kept on and on- until I turned around and told her to stop it. I rebuked her! Nicely, or course ๐Ÿ™‚

The Lord used that to teach me that I had to do the same thing when the devil was pestering me. Just ignoring him doesn’t make him flee. You have to resist him with God’s Word, the sword of the Spirit, and then he will get the “point” and flee away very quickly!
